Snow

So here's the obligatory snow post. I thought it was going to be one of those panics that didn't come to anything but then I woke up this morning to almost 7 inches of snow and it's still falling. I don't ever remember snow this deep in the southeast. Here's what it looked like out our front window this morning:

The cars were finding it really hard to get out - there's a layer of ice under the snow!

Wow! Now that's some snow! Brilliant pictures. :)
We're hoping it'll get like that here.
Enjoy your day!

Oh, in case you wondered, I found your blog through someone else that I read. x

I'm qute astonished actually, it's got deeper since I took those pictures this morning, at least 8-9 inches now, and it's getting quite medieval here - no milk or post delivery. The local shop is shut, the nest nearest one has had no deliveries today, so no newspapers, milk (even dried or evaporated!), bread or anything. Luckily I make our own bread but we're out of milk. No cars on the roads as they're impassable so lots of kids playing in the street which is nice.
HOpe it's better tomorrow though as I really need to get some food!

Sounds a bit eerie.
Hope it gets better for you. Must be a pain to have no milk.

pretty photos, I love snow, but then, ours isn't deep enough to close shops and stuff like that. Keep warm!
